What many bankruptcy attorneys fail to tell you?

Also, having a bankruptcy and foreclosure on your record can affect your credit score between 250 to 350 points; typically affecting your credit for 5 years or more, and remaining on your credit history for 10 years or more. Mortgage is normally reported as "paid as agreed", "paid as negotiated", or "settled", Lowering the credit score as little as 50 points.
